Why keeping in touch with customers is key for small firms in lockdown

With new Covid-19 guidelines and 리니지프리서버구축 financial support being updated constantly, it’s been hard to maintain a focus on what’s also important to ensure your business makes it to the other side in good shape – keeping in touch with your customers.

While you could be forgiven for focusing on the finances, as lockdown progresses and we become accustomed to the new normal, it’s also important to turn our attention to what post-lockdown business is going to look like. 

Ask yourself what services you might need to consider adding – e-commerce, selling on platforms, deliveries etc and whether you need to sharpen your skills to make sure you can manage things efficiently in the future.

A recent Enterprise Nation survey found that while 83 per cent of businesses and self-employed individuals said they were still working out a financial package to get them through, 리니지프리서버추천 another 53 per cent said they planned to start working on the business and increasing their knowledge bank. 

Almost a fifth (19 per cent) said they were already working on it. The most popular skills for brushing up were marketing and digital, with 63 per cent saying they planned to increase online capacity.

Keeping in touch
It’s so important to continue to communicate with customers over lockdown. While they might not be confident enough to start much purchasing yet, keeping in touch helps maintain that connection, but also reassures them you’ll still be around when they do.

Do send regular emails with updates and offers (if you have any). Keep it short and use a friendly in tone, share what you’re up to and how you’re doing. Be confident and 리니지프리섭 keep the dialogue flowing. Try to maintain this once a week.

Be creative and positive in social media posts. Keep them upbeat and share helpful information, not just about your brand, but also consider sharing what others are up to.
