This past week I attended the National Convention for Call Centers in Montreal. The name of the organization is CAMX. I have met over the years at these conventions some amazing people who have become very successful in our industry. My article this week is about a comment made by John Ratliff, the CEO of Appletree during a presentation he made to the convention attendees. We are looking for people who are unhappy with data management consulting the provider of whatever product or service we deliver. When we take the ‘we are a better choice’ approach it is critically dependent on our prospects being unhappy and it requires that we compare ourselves to the current provider.
Whatever consultancy you choose should have a reputation for providing good jobs. There are many other consultancies so choose with care. Most of the time there are consultancies that take money for registration and also provide low paying or no jobs at all. Hence discretion is advised regarding which consultancy you join.
